Who will set up and tear down my bounce house?
WNC Party People will deliver, set up, and tear down your rental.  You don't have to worry about any of that.
Are you insured?
Yes.  We have liability insurance on all our inflatables just in case there is an accident during your event.
When do I pay for my rentals?
A $50 deposit is due when you book your rental.  The deposit is non-refundable and goes toward the full balance of your rental.  If you have to cancel, you can use your deposit to reschedule another rental within 60 days.
What if I have to cancel my rental?
If you have to cancel, your deposit is non-refundable.  You can, however, use it to reschedule another rental within the next 60 days.
What if it rains?
If it rains on the day you have booked your inflatable you can use your deposit to reschedule within the next 60 days.  It must actually rain, just a bad forecast is not an acceptable reason to cancel.
How safe are inflatables?
Safety is our top priority.  All of our units are NC inspected and approved.  All units come with written safety guidelines.  Our units are delivered clean, and set up by trained operators.  We also insure every unit we rent.
How do I power my inflatable?
You must provide your own power for the inflatable!  Any normal 3 prong outlet will work.  We normally have drop cords on hand if you need to use them.  If you are using it away from your house or another structure, you must provide your own generator or alternative power.
How young is too young to bounce?
Actually, if you can stand, you can bounce!  However, we encourage little jumpers to bounce with other little jumpers, and big jumpers to bounce with other big jumpers.  Also, you never want to put more people than is safe in an inflatable.  Here are some simple rules to follow in a bounce house or moonwalk: Children up to age 7: 10-12 at a time.  Children 8-12: 7-10 at a time.  Individuals over 12: 5-7 at a time.

Introducing the Owners

A couple of years ago my oldest daughter was invited to a friend's birthday party.  When we arrived, we were blown away to find a yard filled with bounce houses and inflatable slides.  We had been to some great birthday parties before, but never anything like this.  The party was complete with party entertainers who did face painting, games, and balloon twisting if my memory serves me correctly.  Before this, apparently, we were living in a cave.  We didn't know there were companies who rented bounce houses to families for personal use.  We also didn't know anything about the companies who offered party services such as planning and entertainment.  This party was the first of many we have been to since then that have had some kind of inflatable and party facilitators.

 

We were no strangers to bounce houses or inflatables.  My wife and I have years of experience in ministry.  Most of which has been spent, in one way or another, in youth ministry.  Even after pastoring for nearly 10 years, we have been privileged to serve on state youth boards and youth camp planning committees.  We've rented inflatables for youth events many times over.  Plus, every summer for the last 6 years we helped put on youth camps for our church.  Those camps sported an awesome selection of inflatables: bounce houses, slides, boxing rings, obstacle courses, and more!  So we got tons of experience putting those units up and taking them down.  And for those who have never done it: taking them down and packing them away is way more work than putting them up!  Even, this past summer our local church put on event for our community.  Once again, we were in the market for renting inflatables; because, we all know that any kind of bounce house, slide, obstacle course, or any other inflatable will draw a crowd. 

 

Couple all of this with the fact that we have been able to meet some really incredible people since moving to Asheville several years ago.  Our Children's Pastor is an amazing balloon twister and face painter.  Her and her husband have ties with other entertainers in the area, including magicians.  We now have a network of real, professional entertainers.  Not part time employees that I have seen working birthday parties.

 

All of this made the decision so obvious.  While driving down the road this summer, after taking down two giant inflatables for our church event, it hit me!  We were made for this kind of business!  I shared my thoughts with my wife, and we immediately began to write out a business plan.  This winter we bought our first three units and started this journey!  We are both excited and anxious at the same time.  We want to serve you. We want to be the best at what we do: providing peace, love, and happiness for everyone who gives us the opportunity to do so.

 

So let us introduce ourselves: we are Daniel, Crystal, Bianca and Olivia.  And we are WNC Party People!  We bring the party.  Let us bring you the bounce house or inflatable that will set your party or event off.
